TPBL Pickleball Rules Reference
This page is the central rules reference for TPBL pickleball tournaments. Event-specific mechanics, category rules, prize notes, and venue reminders may still be posted on each active tournament card.
Player eligibility
Players should enter the correct class/category. TPBL may review Open Play history, tournament history, BDR, racquet-sport background, and committee observations.
- Correct name and contact details required
- Category review may happen before approval
- Wrong-category entries can be moved or denied
Registration and payment
Registration is not final until the required details and payment/proof are reviewed by TPBL admin.
- Use the official active division
- Upload proof when required
- Wait for approval before draw/schedule release
Game-day conduct
Players must follow venue rules, match flow, referee/committee instructions, and sportsmanship expectations.
- Arrive before call time
- Respect rolling schedules
- Committee decisions protect fairness and flow
Draw, schedule, and standings
Online draw, schedule, standings, and playoff links are tournament-specific. Only live generated URLs should be shared publicly.
- Published draw controls schedule generation
- Standings follow the announced format
- Archives are history, not live links
Defaults and forfeits
Default time, forfeit scores, late arrivals, and replacement rules may vary by event and will be posted on the tournament card or announced by TPBL.
- Event-specific notes override general notes
- No unauthorized game-day changes
- Committee may protect schedule flow
Protests and review
Questions should be raised respectfully through the assigned TPBL committee/operator. Reviews should protect the tournament, the players, and the venue.
- Use official channels
- Submit concerns promptly
- BDR/class decisions may be reviewed
